Vogler and Spencer Engineering, Inc. (VSE) has been providing innovating civil engineering solutions to the public and private sector clients in the Houston area and surrounding counties for over 40 years. We are locally based and have a staff with experience in engineering design services for roadway and highway, hydraulics & hydrology studies, storm water collection & detention systems, water supply treatment & distribution systems, wastewater collection and treatment systems, and construction administration.
VSE, Inc. did the site engineering for the new Community Center and Veterans Memorial at Timber Lane Utility District. This included the parking lot layout, sanitary sewer, water lines and drainage facilities for the site.
We also did the plans for the expansion of the “Big Pond” in Cypress Creek Park to account for the additional impervious cover of the community center. The existing pond was expanded by 10,000 C.Y. to satisfy Harris County Flood Control standards.
A storm water quality feature was also included in the project to treat storm water runoff before it drains into the existing pond of the park.
Because VSE is the district engineer for TLUD, we did the construction management for the entire complex. Taking the project from conceptual drawings to a finished building with over a 300 person capacity.
