Graduate Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
Engineer
We currently have a Graduate E.I.T. opening! We are looking for a Civil Engineering graduate who has obtained their E.I.T. and is interested in providing services for land development, municipal utilities, local government public works, and transportation projects.
Responsibilities:

Work on specific tasks given by Project Engineer

Address comments from agencies or internal QA/QC
-
Cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
-
Review submittals
-
Assist in Plan Production and CAD work
-
Request items and coordinate with administration for the preparation of documents required for bidding and construction phases.

Assemble and submit plans
-
Coordinate with Project Engineer when issues arise.

Required Education and Experience:
-
Have a Bachelor of Science from an accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
-
Must possess a Texas Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T) certification
-
Working knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
-
1-3 years’ work experience as a Graduate/ E.I.T.
-
Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills
-
Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients

Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic

A clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines

Attention to detail and ability to contribute to a positive work environment

Job Type and Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to noon. Training available.
