We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Civil Engineering student to join our firm as an intern. Our firm specializes in providing services for Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) and land development projects. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the civil engineering field, working on real-world projects involving municipal infrastructure, land development, and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in Design and Planning: Support engineers in designing civil infrastructure, including water, sewer, stormwater, and roadway systems for MUDs and land development projects.

• Technical Support: Perform calculations and data analysis to assist with the design and optimization of infrastructure systems. Prepare reports, design documents, and presentations for ongoing projects.

• Site Visits and Field Work: Participate in site inspections and fieldwork to assess project conditions, gather data, and monitor project progress.

• Drafting and CAD Support: Assist with creating design drawings, layouts, and maps using AutoCAD or other design software, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

• Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Support the preparation of permit applications, environmental impact reports, and other regulatory documents needed for project approval.

• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met.

• Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of project documentation, including plans, technical reports, and meeting minutes.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Junior or Senior enrolled in a Civil Engineering accredited university.

• Familiar AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or other design programs.

• Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with other professionals.
